the Divine Comedy is a masterpiece of Italian Literature.
Each part is composed of 33 cantos: Dante guided by Virgil
through the nine circles of Inferno;
at the top of the mountain Purgatory,
he meets Beatrice who takes him to Paradise.
Salvador Dali illustrated the poem with 100 wood engravings measuring 10.25" * 13".
